His keenly honed sense of an
animal's spirit dictates the treatment of its physical injuries. Often,
the first course of treatment is for depression, stress and anxiety,
while the physical treatment is secondary.
While that may sound backwards,
Randy knows he must provide an environment that is as free from stress
and anxiety as possible otherwise the animal can not heal from its physical
injuries. This innate understanding
of a creature's needs--be it an animal or human--coupled with his limitless
compassion are defining traits of his humanitarian nature.
Randy's career as an animal rescuer
has spanned more than 50 years and he vows to continue in his animal
rescue work "...until I leave this physical
dimension."
